Lightning, Salesforce.com’s next-generation UI deployment, has just increased its reach in the public sector. In a recent zdnet.com article titled “Salesforce Government Cloud Gets a Lightning Update,” Natalie Gagliordi explains the latest developments in public-sector CRM.
Salesforce.com (SFDC) recently updated Government Cloud with Lightning Experience to bring its improved user interface and mobile experience to government customers. Gagliordi writes that “with Government Cloud Lightning, government agencies and contractors will gain access to new app-building capabilities for designing mobile communication tools, which in this particular vertical can be used to connect agencies with citizens, employees, partners and suppliers.”
Government Cloud Lightning stands to make a big impact in the public sector, especially in the often-overlooked fields of aerospace and defense. The rapid growth of DoD cloud and enterprise systems has made security and mobility crucial, especially as more users come online across the globe.
