Movius has built an all-in-one mobility platform, and with an exclusive partnership with Sprint Corporation, it has developed the Sprint MultiLine mobile application to facilitate BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) with enterprise-grade security and compliance capabilities.

Movius looking for reliable Salesforce integration partner. And at first they wanted to integrate its platform with Salesforce and bring in communication data. However, after thoughtful evaluation and consideration, it decided to build a MultiLine AppExchange product to seamlessly provide Call & SMS experience from and within Salesforce mimicking its Mobile App experience.

The key challenges were:

  • CTI (Computer Telephone Interface) is well supported by Salesforce but building real-time SMS capabilities was complex.
  • Movius MultiLine is well established mobile application built over many years, replicating that level of user experience on Salesforce was complex and challenging.
  • Movius wanted the communication 100% in sync with its Mobile Apps, and users should be able to switch in real-time while communicating with the customers.
  • The Salesforce MultiLine integration required complex integration with the Movius platform and needed compliance with Salesforce AppExchange security standards.

Solution from Bolt Today

Movius wanted to extend its market reach and leverage the Salesforce eco-system. So it invited Bolt Today to do the PoC (Proof of Concept) to evaluate the possibility of integrating its MultiLine platform with Salesforce. In less than four weeks, Bolt Today was able to demonstrate how Calls and SMS can be seamlessly sent & received from within Salesforce. This opened up the possibilities with Movius leadership, and they decided to build the AppExchange MultiLine product that can be securely distributed to its customers.

Bolt Today had the prior experience and expertise of Salesforce AppExchange app development for itself and provided the thought leadership right from initial design to deployment. Salesforce has very stringent security requirements when it comes to AppExchange, along with a set of best practices to ensure performance and scalability. Bolt Today guided the Movius team through them and secured the Salesforce security approval in record time.
